Redcliffe Bream

Finally had an opportunity to head out land based and have a crack at some bream on hardbodies at my fav spot. I have wanted to try my new luvias and samurai101  on some of these fish and to say they were hungry was an understatement. I was using 4lb sunline PE and 3lb sniper leader and these fish gave a great account of themselves on this outfit. Saw lots of fish chading prawns on the surface too. The overcast conditions certainly helped. Cant wait to hit them up again this weekend

Thank you luvit. Best fish went 1.26kg amd were in very shallow water. All up ended with 37 fish in just over an hour or so

37 in 60 odd minutes = awesome session !

Nice session. If you don't have a fishing diary now might be a good time to start one. Time of day, tide, month of the year, all that stuff, because it sounds like you have nailed that spot.

Hardly a bream gun. The fish seemed to concentrating on a lot of juvenile prawns on the surface. Right time right place i guess. It was definitely the best session ive had in awhile

Absolutely  scaley. I definately  recorded all the above factors and i went back yesterday and only managed 14 fish

Most were only around the 23-30cm mark
