queensland Amongst The Sticks

Went for a walk yesterday arvo and done a bit of casting to the sticks out at NPD. Its easy to see why I had lost a lot of lures in this area before. I could see a couple of lures hanging from some sticks, but as I was on my own I was not about to go for a swim. I have actually grown some brains since I turned 70. Few months a go I would of been in there after them.

Anyway on the fishing side of things I managed 5 bass on spinnerbaits and none on blades. Edge of water was lined with weed, same as it is on most of the dam, pity is that the water keeps going down and drying out the weed.It was just so good to be out there as the sun was going down and the bass were a bonus.
