Checked bom radar at 3am and only showed a couple of small scuds with nothing behind so off we headed. By the time we got to the deagon roadworks it was torrential. We pulledupunder the rail bridge at Dohles Rocks road and put on our wet weather gear and continued on.

When we arrived at the gate the rain had eased off and we were able to do the shrimp traps in relative comfort and then went straight to where we found the bass on Sunday.

Hughie sent it down again but we did not care as the fish were hungry with double hook ups the norm with the only time we slowed up was when either of us caught a tagged fish.which was a real pain trying to record details in the pouring rain.

I had promised zimman any left over shrimp but sadly he missed out as we used them all up finishing up with 180 fish.

Cheers

Ray
