I was telling a few people on here that I went on a tour of St Helena Island with my parents last year and it is a good day out and very informative. Includes info on how they had a large kiln that produced lime by throwing in dredged coral (and possibly oysters - can't remember ..... ) which made it from memory the most profitable jail in the southern hemisphere in its day.
