queensland Where to fish?

Hi all,

can anyone recommend a landbased spot or two where one can get to try a few spoons / soft plastics on a sunday morning/ afternoon. I've tried nudgee but way too many dogs all over the place and only a matter of time before one gets hooked accidentally and all chaos brakes out :-)

a place I can fish for an hour or two. I live northwest of brisbane (boondall). target fish. flatties, bream, trevallies and would love some tailor but not familiar with their location. anything really.

How about the mouth of cabbage tree creek? Its down at Shorncliffe, got a little jetty, a rock wall, some trawlers a little upstream. The channel is close to the bank (northern side) a walk as the tide drops along it might be worthwhile as well.
