best shrimp

im after your opinions on the best nighttime gulp 2" shrimp color

i was thinking either something glowy or something really dark

what do you think

there's a new ( to me ) colour gulp I saw the other day that was red and black.

not a shrimp but a close match thats doing the damage down here.

A lot of Bream, Trevs etc are feeding on what we call Jelly Prawns.

The Gold Sliders are the go, I thing they are 3" but I have been cutting them down to 1.5-2"

Nuclear chicken, if you think the tail looks too long, cut it. But make sure you diagonally cut it correctly, otherwise it doesnt go thru the water too well and may just look like a dead weight. or peppers.

I don't do much nightime lure fishing but i reckon on a fullish moon you'd be better off going with a dark clour for the silhouette factor and on a newish moon the glows would be the go.

Also with the glows i reckon that a thin strip of glowing material would be better than an entire glowing plastic, similar theory for deep water jigging so that you attract the fish not scare them away.

1 banana prawn

1 mango ripple or something

and 1 dark color, maybe the red and black ones

That red and black colour is called "midnight tier". I agree at night with a bit of moonlight this colour would make a great silhouette.

tom for gulp ive had heaps of success on pearl white, natural, new penny and the new banana prawn. prob the natural and new penny have been the best but all the ones ive mentioned are pretty good
