I tore my cast net! Can I get it fixed?

Popped down to Jindalee to practise cast netting !

Second cast = 2 poddies woohoo!

Third cast - SNAAAAAG!

Its ripped around the lead beads. Can I fix it? - how? or should i take it to get fixed?

You can sowe it up with mono fishing line, takes a while though. Where abouts at jindalee were you castnetting?

Yep hang it up from the clothes line and start tying. Takes a while, never the same again, but they are usually still usable.

Hang it up from the clothes hoist and temporaly hold it together with clothes pegs and then stitch it up with mono. That way it wont get too much out of shape.

Not worth while taking it to a netmaker to repair most of them will only repair their own nets and even then not very interested as it is very timeconsuming.
