queensland First trip in the skeeter (wow)

Stu took me out today in his new skeeter all i can say is WOW what a boat We headed up to Borumba to get into some of the bass and maybe a toga

Didnt get any toga but stu did miss one on a surface lure we did get some bass on surface , chubbys and spinnerbaits i got my pb surface bass today going 1.45kgs and 42cm fl

Also got two small yellas on spinnerbaits pretty good way to break in the skeeter with the first of many bass

Sounds like a great morning. I would be too scared to use the skeeter. Would be worried that I would scratch the beaut finish on it.

I reckon you two could probably catch fish from a floating bath tub...the skeeter just makes you look good:laugh:

My ambition (on of) is to get a bass on surface this summer, might have to head up there.

That is a good fish off the surface Andrew. Those toga up there hit hard but are bloody hard to hook and it is a long way to paddle for a donut . I bet the skeeter was up in the sticks in a minute or two.
