Just listening to nugget on 4bc and Gary Fitzgerald is hosting a kayak try out day from 8am onwards at Colleges crossing. He has a large variety of yaks there for people to try out and will also be giving advice on paddling and handling tips.

All free and ideal for anyone thinking of getting into yakking.

For anyone who is interested in trying out kayaking or is looking to try a different model to something you already have there will be a CATI Come And Try It at Colleges Crossing Reserve.

Experienced staff from BLA will be on site to assist in fitting PFDs & how to paddle & pick the right kayak for you.

When February 14. 8am - 1pm

* Totally Free

* Full Safety Gear is provided

* A wide range of kayaks from Ocean Kayak & Necky ranges will be available

* Bring a hat, shoes, sunscreen & a smile

* Children MUST be accompanied by parent or guardian at all times

* Bring your partner along on Valentines Day

Drinks & meals are available at the cafe / kiosk at Colleges Crossing Reserve.
