okuma V system bait caster??

hey guys im looking at a new reel....and just wondering what you guys thought of the okuma V system baitcaster???....if any one has one or has used one it would be appreciated if you could give some feed back

yeah man they are pretty good.. i havent used one but my mate mark swears by them...durable, and fairly smooth drag.

Hey Mate,

I have the vs 200 and it used to perform well until the drag goes on them, if i was you i would go a different reel, might be able to give you a better option if you pm your price bracket to me.

check out the daiwa heartland. the bearings are top notch all corrosion resistant, floating spool. i have the hrf and the heartland would be my next buy, unless i could afford a calais dc or steez...

I had one and thought it was great.

Never had a problem with it. They are very sweet to use and feel good in the hand, easy to maintain and service and come with spare spool and bushes.

If I was to get another lp biatcaster, i'd probably consider getting another V
