queensland Mooloolaba Bream session

Hi all, Well it Finally arrived Friday night, my aim tonight was to beat my PB Bream of 42cm. As I have been fishing with Plastics Lately I thought I would use some fresh bait. Picked up some Fresh Prawns and Mullet fillets and went on to our destination Mooloolaba at Mooloolah River. Location we fished at is off Parkyn Pde . When we Arrived at the spot, I rigged up and with no time wasted I baited my hook casted and got smacked soon as it touched the water. Prawns and fresh mullet fillets work really well at this location. From the time we arrived till the time we left we had constant action. We called it a night at about 2.30am It a great night no PB broken, but landed over 50+ bream between the 3 of us (only 10 were kept). The biggest went to my mate Paul 29cm, second went to my mate Domingo 28.4 and third mine which was 28cm.

50+ bream - what a hot bite! I think the little fella is some sort of cardinalfish. I caught one at Mud one night and we took it as a sign to go home :laugh:

wow 50 bream from the one spot is alot !

anyone got any theories on fish caught on lures and sent back send other fish in the school off the bite much more than if caught on bait and baits continue to hit the water...?
