cabbage tree this week end

Hi all i am newbie and just thought i would post something about our trip to cabbage tree on sunday. The wife and son and i went down to cabbage tree and boy the reamp was busy but we got out ok. we went to the powerlines and fished there for a while but got nothing on lures or chook gut. was anybody else out there and what kind of luck did they have.

Hey there!

Can't say Ive got much land based on lures or sp at cabbage!

But can tell you that chiken thighs with a little breadcrumb parmesan mix does the trick on the Bream.

Pulled 4 out on sat night, and one stinker of a muddie as well! thank god I brought the landing net.

I have found the in tide the best, 2-3 hours before high.

then 1 hour after the high they seem to head out again.

Keep trying, believe me they are in there.

One cheeky bugger took 3 baits before hooking up, could tell by the head shake it was the same fella

Mooks think hes talking about cabbage tree near the pin, not our local... which reminds me i have to get down there and dust a few lizards again
