Looking for a new reel

Hey all, I'm looking at getting a new reel for my shimano raider in the barra bait caster model( 1.88mtr 6-10kg line weight and lure weight 10-25 grm)any suggestions? will be looking at around $250-300 to spend.

Righto looking at the curado e5 or e7 , revo winch and the daiwa, what do you guys think the best all round would be as mentioned before for my raider rod , i'm looking for something that can handle across the board in case i get something big ie monster barra,snapper the odd threadie,and shark but can also handle the smaller stuff... any advice would be much apreciated

Diawa HRF has impressed me with what it can handle having always fished with shimano this was my first diawa I always choose it over my chronarch.

All the baitcasters in a price range are pretty similar. It comes down to little things, which cast control do you prefer, drag components or upgrades, spool (weight/size/spin speed), Daiwa lets you re-engage the gearing by flicking the cast lever back up as well as when you wind...

Just have a play with all the ones in your price range and bargain hard. and check their online prices as some places can really show a bargain! i just missed out on a revo inshore for 160 delivered from the states and i may cry about it soon...

curado e5 is a really nice reel, had a play with 1 at work thinking of buying myself 1 now, or i might bite the bullet nd buy a diawa zillion not sure yet
