is this combo a good one

hi, i found this combo on ebay can someone tell me if this is good buy for price and will it work for chaseing sharks, macs, mullerway and most big fish

personaly i wouldnt go near it with a ten foot pole but if you dont want to spend much

$75 is reasonable for any combo with braid.. just dont be suprised if the reel is stuffed within a few trips.

yer i dont think id get it either i wouldnt trust anything from there unless its a brand you know like shimano etc. Theres a few good rovex combos going around for a fairly good price that will catch most fish

they say they spool it with 30lb braid, but its a 15-25lb rod?

i reckon the gearing is too low as well

mate you could probably pick a combo from annaconda or bfc for around this price, you will get a better chance of returing it if it stuffs up plus you will gety a brand you know

i wouldn't bother buying a cheap baitcaster mate, it will give you migraines for sure.

if you want a good cheaper caster go with something like a shimano cruxis, good value should be able to pick it up for around 100

Yeah i was thinking on getting a Punisher rod but i researched and they dont really have any sites or anything on them. I too wouldn't get it bro

i've got one ebay bait caster i'll vouch for it's my go to rod for bait fishing for threadfin and sharks in the river

it's a saratoga predator 8-12 kg baitcaster (uglystick type rod)from tacklemania

i paid $27 delivered for it 4 years ago and its still going strong

personally, no. but each to their own. you get what you pay for. I save up, buy mid price name brands, daiwa, shimano, that lasts for ages, & makes my fishing experience more enjoyable. cheers
