queensland Coomera tomorrow

Hey guys

trying to think were to take the boat tomorrow. thinking the Coomera, and launching at the ramp near the M1 bridge. hopeing for some flattys or bream on lures but dont really mind. Not familiar with the area, so was hoping if i could get some advice on wereabouts to head from the ramp?

its pretty shallow upstream from there, with prop eatin shoals, so watch out for that

thers a canal just downstream try in there, havent fished the area more than once though so cant give you any tips from experience

google map it mate and try some spots that look fishy to you, sorry mate never fished the coomera

Nads is right, shoals are nasty, but OK with some local knowledge on a full moon tide. The canal system east of the ramp is very good for a slow troll. Had some good results with livies too. Best place to be in that area too, as it's fools alley in the main river at times.

ok thanks guys, ill head downstream then to avoid shallow areas, i'll try that first canal section near the boat ramp like you guys said and see how i go from there
