Does anyone know when the pinkenba boat ramp will be or is pos to be open again?

why did they close it?

i was there 6-7 months ago was building the tanks next door.. gets alot of use (first ive heard)

I didn't know it was closed either -- towed the boat down and was advised that it will be closed for quite awhile - I believe they are re-doing the entire ramp

its an entire rebuild of the underground plumbing and electrics, its being done because of truck access wanted by the neighbour, they had to foot the rebuild, should be a good job and hoping there will be toilets :laugh: designated rigging and parking areas, all the trees gone and cleaning table removed to be put back later . will try and check it out this week and get some pics of the stage their at.

oh and it should be end of august into early september finish date

i'd like a ramp change in general lol, more accesible beach for actually using with the boat or a pontoon would be nice. pretty current and wind affected ramp, and not being able to walk the boat from the beach to the trailer doesnt help ramp efficiency much and not that keen on beaching on the ramp/rocks to tie up to the rings which dissapear at higher tide (esp for the glass boats out there)

Last time I looked I think the sign on the gate said planned finish date is late August
