Bribe island dart

Heyy all,

I'm thinking of heading to bribe island on Saturday morning to try and catch some dart. Has anyone had much luck?

Any advise on rigs etc would be awesome

Not sure about Bribie, but I got onto some really good quality dart at Teewah last weekend. Used beach worms on a #2 baitholder hook 60cm trace and running sinker.

Trick is to fish as light as possible, but I found I had to go to a #4 bean sinker to get the distance. Lots of fun on light gear, and not bad tucker if eaten fresh.

Skirmish Point - off the beach, there are usually plenty of Dart and Whiting around. Live worms seem to be the most consistent bait and I would use small Tru Turn size 4 or size 6 hooks. Good Luck
