Just found out that i can have a loan of my ute tomorrow morning so am going to drop 4 crab pots in the barge channel and see if there is anything doing in front of cootchie. Will leave Redland bay marina around 5am after chucking the cast net for some liveys.

Hopefully there may be some tailer and squire around and if I am lucky a big cod.

The tide runs fairly fast there but I have been given a tip to cut the bottom section off the liveys tail and this means that they can only swim downwards.
