Rover Park

Hey Guys,

Anyone been to Rover Park near Tenterfield lately?

Few of us are going down there for the easter break and just wondering what it is like,

Or more importantly are the creeks around there any good for fishing, and what you might expect to catch?

Bill.

Don't know the area well but it's not far from the upper Clarence and is probably close to some of the border rivers. Upper Clarence has Estuary Perch/bass as well as Carp, Yellowbelly, Tandanus, Murray/Eastern cod. (Don't know the differences but Eastern Cod are protected I think.)

I've not been to Rover park but would be keen on hearing what you have to say about it when you get back :)

Mmmm can leave your rods at home unless you want to try somewhere outside of the park as no fish at rover, have had an unsuccessful attempt before.

As for 4wheelin and camping its just great, especially for the kids. Am heading up there with friends and family this easter, can't wait, however if you dont have a booking you won't get in as fully booked and expecting over 400 vehicles.

cheers
