I'll be heading up to Imbil for the day on Friday. There are a few waterholes and a stretch of the Mary River crying out for a paddle.

Target is bass and saratoga. Possible Mary River Cod as by-catch

At this stage its just me, but have room for a co-pilot.

And Sunday if the weather is kind, heading to the blinker, otherwise it'll be a straddie trip :woohoo:

OR on Saturday you could drive up to Rainbow beach and I'll pick you up and come for a fish around Double Island Point headland.

Saturday is out for me, so can fish sunday or monday, not both. Got to build some brownie points for that cod trip we talked about :woohoo: its been about 18 months since my last murray cod

I have to be back early afternoon which while being doable, would be a pain to have to constantly consider when there might be "just one more bend" I want to explore.

there are three options — in the front hatch, on the back, or on tom's lap...

the co pilot drags the yak up and down from pool to pool across rapids and carries me to the yak when its been transported. Or they can bring their own and tag team catching all the fish
