whiting and bream on poppers !!!

has anyone had any luck with poppers for whiting or bream lately ???

i am after some land based or kayak accesible locations around the brisbane area !!!

Yeah mate, getting a few bream of the surface lately around the joint. In two weekends time, 24th, I will be hitting the goldy on the yak to do some breaming, you are welcome to join. If not the GC then more then likely up at Scarborough.

Basically on any rocky/ weedy patch I've found em. I have been casting the poppers/ walkers in tight to the rock points to get them.

i have mate but im looking for somewhere to get mainly whiting and maybe the odd bream !!!!

and surfingant i go to m spot all the time althought it gets boring hauling in about 50 bream a minute !

hit google maps, near maps, look for lickly spots or troll older posts...best bet

This is some very good advise given by Keen-as-fisho, I fish the Gold Coast a lot and do very well on poppers in the shallow waters...As above... Rocky areas, weedy patches, sand flats, all work well using poppers
