Fishing Reports

Most of you are probably the same as me, and like to read as many fishing reports and predictions as possible to know what’s biting. Here are a few places I go to find out what’s happening, I’m sure there are plenty more out there, so add them to the list!

AFO

Obviously AFO is a good place to start, plenty of reports show up every day, and its good to get the information right as it happens.

Qld Fishing monthly and Bush&Beach mags

On the last Thursday of the month both of these mags hit the shelves. They have heaps of reporters who write for a specific area and give a prediction for the next month, plus heaps of tips and locations to try. From memory the 2 mags come to less than $10, so you get plenty of bang for your buck

Every Friday Dave Downey gives a prediction for the weekend including things like tides, solunar peaks and whats biting. He also has a radio show every weekend, if I knew what an AM radio was I would probably listen.

Updated about twice a week, it is a list of short reports from all the tackle shops around the place

Another is "word of mouth" I have a couple friends that don't use Forums or may be on another site.... sometimes a good report will come from them on where to have a crack at next !!

Yeh good point Manni, I was just talking about places everyone could read reports. I always stop in at the local bait shop and have a chat to the guys, they have people coming in all day long talking about how the place is fishing

I find most of the reports out there are either out of date or mostly made up.. The best report is the one I write on my return from fishing...
