Quickie from Darwin

Arrived in Darwin on monday, hit the creeks on Tuesday & Wednesday, very quiet on the fishing front with strong winds and neap tides. Although Glenda outfished me as usual landing 10 good Bream to the high 30's & low 40's on Tuesday and Wednesday landing some more monster Bream and 4 Cod in mid 40's all great fun on light gear and a great feed as well.

Here for another week, hoping the weather drops out for a trip outside and hopefully some bigger fish.

The wetlands are fishing well for Barra, but it is a bit congested with 200 boats fishing some of the lagoons.

Doing the tourist thing at the moment going to the NPs and visiting the local sites.

Heading home through Kakadu so will fish Shady camp for some big barra and Boraloola, Burketown and Normanton, so still pleanty of time to wet aline and catch something.

Will do a report and post some pics when we get home in a few weeks.

Lozz.
