Some nice pearlies and nice bar cod, how deep water was it caught in? I thought it was a hapuka until you id'd it as a bar cod.

We've been getting some nice pearlies lately. 240mtrs on a plateau before she drops to 400mtrs.

Not to sure one of the other guys took it home. We caught a few on the electric that we let go but i thought it would be fun to drop an overhead with 100lb dropper untill i brang up a nannygai and the shark on the bottom hook.

Not quite sure wes dont normally measure the big ones but I did measure a hussar last week I caught on plastic that went in at 48cms.
