Finding Yabbies??

Kind of new to all this and was hoping someone could point me in the right direction on where to go to pump yabbies not too far from the mouths of the coomera and Pimpama rivers.

My three boys love getting them and using them for bait.

I understand if people don't want to give away secrets spots or what ever, just thought I'd ask.

Do you have a boat?

I'm not sure of spots you can get to from land in that area but I've got some from around Brown Island (across the Broadwater from Sovereign Island). I've seen people pumping the flats on the south side of Ephraim Island too (which you might be able to get to without a boat).

Any soft flats on the edge of mangroves are worth a go, where you see lots of holes in the mud.
