Considering the obvious move south of all the tropical species, I reckon that's gonna happen eventually. Welcome to my world of fear you livebait gathering castnetters in SEQ!

By saying fear I am referring to the number of close encounters with ocean going geckos I have had in the last 12 months. I now no longer go fishing alone and also insist on having a 'sentry' when castnetting. Definately not an upside to the march south of the tropical species :ohmy:

Tiotony, i don't do a lot of cast netting but i do go worming a bit like the photo shows, as you can see by the photo i would appreciate if you keep all those big snapping handbags you have up there otherwise one day i might not come back, cheers wayne
