What's up, mates?

Have you ever tried single hooks? After insisting on starting every morning sesh on the surface I have decided that timid bites could be improved thusly:

You every tried experimenting with different hook setups?

What are your opinions?

I think 1 single hook would be better than your doubles.

Also a bit closer to the lure would be better too I think.

That setup may restrict the lures action a fair bit as well.

Have used the zx trailer hooks on topwaters to great effect. (especially on bream) I find they suck them in better on the pause. If you don't wana use the trailer hooks try running the back treble off 2 split rings. Sits the treble lower in the water when you pause and i've experienced better hook up rates on topwaters.
