Had him for ages got him when he was 1/2\" till he was 10\" and the dopey bugger ate a rock and died gave my Daughter the tank etc it was a sad day

i had 4 in China. i got them when they r 2cm and feed them with pet bait>worm>shrimp>fish>beef and they r 20cm in half year. really fat and fierce towards my finger:P

i love them but the break down of my heater took them away:(

Oscar are a very aggresive fish and that is a nice looking one too.

Sorry about what happened.

I used to have some huge goldfish and my nephews used to love helping me feed them. One day the 2 year old decided to feed them himself when no one was around. He threw the whole container in. The next day, the water was black and all of my fish were dead. They where really big too.

Big time Ash and messy but I know some will say BS but he would get his tail flapping and shake his head when I came home and follow my movements where ever I went and get this SULK in the corner when someone new came round till they where gone I used to feed him feeder fish and it was an eye opener how quik he would nail em :woohoo: big worms he would have hanging outta his gob till he could swallow em Damm might have to reclaim my tank :pinch:

I kept Oscars as a teenager too. Used to feed them live mice and skinks. Good tough and powerful fish. I prefer the natives these days.
