Might be a stupid question, but I'm looking at storage for my firearm and need to know if there are any gun storage places, Im talking about ones where I can store my gun and when I want to go for a shoot, I can take it out and return it latter.

I'm ok to store them at home, but just looking for options incase the wife does not want them around the house with a newborn, even tho I have only 2 keys, 1 on me at all times (i wont say where) and the other key offsite at friends house that happens to live outside of brisbane.

Yes you can do this, but if its over 3 months the police have to be notified. The person where the safe is has to be licenced for your weapon class as well.

yes but they need to hold a lic and have a proper locked safe ect and you need to notify the proper authority

Could be an option for you then mate. If u know an trust someone who has the correct license and appropriate facilities to do so.
