kookaburra park rain and tides

Hey dudes thinking bout heading to kook on sat night but i cant remember what the delay for the tide is from brisbane bar is a 1 1/2 and also would the river fish well with this amount of rain going into i would like to fish further downstream like near breakfast creek but couldnt really be bothered looking for a brissie river threadie before i leave

hey mate high is +2.50 low is +3.10 i've always found it a bit more difficult fishing after the rain in the river up here to much fresh i think but worth a try with baits, good luck

thanks mate mate so high is about 3 hours after i' m of the school of thought that the threadie likes murky water and prawns come out after rain so i may aswell give it a go and cross my fingers

I was up that way yesterday and had a look it was getting towards low water and the water was very clear with no sign of any fresh run off.

Was going to have a bit of a fish off bank but wasnt able to get any liveys in the cast net and it was very windy.

hey jeff dont they close the junction off at like 6 at night?

And ill be fishing it blind does have the general brissy river chanel going through it about 3/ 4 across on the other side if that makes sense?

Ray clear water in the middle reaches of the brissy river??????

They certainly do. You have to leave your car up the top and use the foot falcon. The big hill is a pain in the bum with a car full of tackle, but done it many times lol

And yes the chanel is about 3/4 across mate.
