queensland Mixed Results at Logan River

Morning everyone, hit up Logan river last night with my brothers and my father, we desided to start at a spot we had success at recently and nothing touched our baits for 1 hour and 30 minutes so we decided to more down river closer to the mouth. We set up camp and desided to stay for the duration of the night. We got set up about 1 hour before the tide change. Got all the rods out and cranked up the burley and suddenly all the rods were getting smashed, but they werent getting the hooks. So i changed the baits on some of the rods and right on the tide change one of the rods started screaming, zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz and we were on, it felt like a bullie cause it gave a great fight, but when it surfaced it wasnt it was a big catfish, it was 45 centimeters. After that it all started to slow down, but something was still baiting the rods but we eventually decidied to call it a night. So no bullie but atleast we caught a nice catfish.

ive had better luck up further in the river then the mouth. but cattys always can misleading as a bully. pulled a 60cm one out after getting a bully and even when it came to the surface we thought it was a bully lol till we saw the whole body
