queensland topwater fishing goldcoast seaway

hey all, im quite interested in trying the seaway for some small trevally and what ever else will hit the surface. is there much going on down there right now or worth waiting for abit and what sort of lures would be worth a go i was thinking roosta 105's and and small stickbaits. thanks!

You can get some nice tailor and trevally around the rocks at the gore there.

Best to work something a bit smaller, maybe a Sammy 65 or perhaps smaller then that.

With the tailor is doesn't matter so much but your trevally and others you will increase your fish by 'matching the hatch'.

DUO Poco Poco are pretty awesome, they are a small popper that walk the dog really easy and push heaps of water, really good for surface bream / bass aswell
