The VCG have put up a new Free App on Aplle for signing on and off by using your smartfone. Its a great app and easy to use it logs on and off and also hold details of contacts for emergencies and pictures and details of your boat.

Says it only works for free until Sunday. Not a very long life!

Didnt see the sunset clause on that, I'm a member so it may not have been there, the cost to join the VCG is low and anybody who goes out more that a couple of Klms need to join just for the cost if there is ever a problem, fuel batteries etc. I joined Mooloolabah and it extends from the Gold Coast up to Marybrough for any free assistance, cheap as chips
