queensland pine river session (27-9-07)

well a mate and i headed out today in his dads tinny from leis park at petrie and fish a favourite spot of mine further up the river for nothing then moved and my mate managed a small breambo.

after a while with nothing we decided to head up to deep water bend area. wernt there long before i pulled up a little 20cm threadie, came in like a dead weight.

then nothing for a while so we decided to go looking for spots, came across a small creek and said to my mate geeez this looks good so pulled out a 3inch berkley powerbait power minnow in pearl blue, my mate being a novice wanted to see a fish caught on a plastic so i said watch this, 1st cast flick flick rest.. flick flick bang, i was on to a little 30cm flattie... all my mate could say was smartass lol

that was about it for the day, also managed several undersized muddies aswell

P.S have a picture of the threadie on my camera but it depends if i can be bothered to get it off
