The last couple of outings have been a shocker so I was keen to redeem myself today. The forecast wasn't the best but "Beggers can't be choosers" so off I went. Started out in the nerang and having only put one whiting in the box after 2 hours of fishing, I was over it and was gonna call it a day. Then my brother said lets go try the broadwater and I wasn't real keen because the tide had already ebbed for two hours and in my experience, that is prime whiting feeding time. But, I said what the heck and decided to go because I had so much bloodworms left. Anyway, once we got to the broadwater, I was kept busy with consistent catches of good size fish. Biggest went 41cm but of course when I took it home and took some pix, it shrank to I think 39cm or thereabouts. Conditions were very windy and choppy and I am very surprised with my catch
