Could not wait any longer to get into the bass out at NPD. I was out there yesterday attending a working bee and noticed that the water looked quite calm, so thought I'd give it a go this morning. Well it might of looked OK at the ramp but once you got down to the open areas it was blowing a gale.

Started off trolling and managed a few but not enough to keep me interested, so I switched over to jigging tailspinners and this turned out to be the way to go. Most of the fish were just legal and quite a few undersize. Hilite of the morning was watching half a dozen piglets come to the waters edge for a drink, they were to far away to get a good pic. Finished up with 58 bass.
