queensland Belted By Bass

Just got home from the gc hinterland after a slow but good bass fishing weekend. Just had the  car serviced last week and dont know if the mechanic didnt tighten the new fan belts properly or not, but when I got to canungra it sounded like a plastic bag was caught under my car, anyway I stripped one fan belt and the other had come off. Had to wait till saturday to slipp over to nerang to by some more. Missed out on a trip to peel island on the big cat boat but the 17 that went caught heaps of small fish of many species.

Anyway meanwhile in the creeks I was managing to find enough bass to keep me amused. I was glad to see that even though the water temp was very cold they were still hitting surface lures.
