1770 Trip 1

Heya,

Did 2 days at the bunker group. Sun - Mon. Decided to head to sykes work our way north then work our way south the next day. 

Trip out started good then a storm formed us and followed us for 2 hours. Lots of holes in ocean... 

2.5 hours we made it to sykes. Tried to head east to deep water but was way too lumpy. Played in our trout grounds near sykes before heading to broomy. 

Once at broomy, we were on. Fish were really thick. Got our bag of red throats. We then rafted up for the night with 6 7mtr+ boats. Funny being the smallest boat on the group! We stayed out front of wilson island.

Next day we headed wide for reds. Then at about 12pm headed  home. 

Next trip is tomorrow for two days, cant wait!!!

NIce one Julian, always good to get a couple of reds. Nice sized parrots there mate (top chewing!!) and nice fat trouts too. Good luck for the next trip bud.

Parrots were one fish notably absent from our last trip up.

Thanks guys for the nice words. Just got back from our second trip. More red! Fuel figures this round were interesting... been doing 300km runs for 170ltrs.

That's godd fuel economy will love getting up further north next time when i get a chance to get up there again Broomfeild reef sounds like it has some good ground

I was happy with the fuel usage. 100 a peraon per trip isnt bad. The best thing mark is you head there first then fish south home. We'll  kick ass there next time mate.
