[Chase the lure]

Went to Somerset today for the first time as usual were do you start at a new dam so spent most of the morning trolling deep divers with not much luck but could see a lot of fish schooling on the sounder.

the young fella got a 45 cm yells up in the timber.

looking around every one seems to be bait fishing ?

Dangling a shrimp amongst the trees is a pretty sure-fire way to get a feed of yellas if they're there. I imagine plastics would draw a bite too.

A couple of freshwater members used to jig up bass with ice-jigs there too from memory.

Well done to the young fella. Hope he gave you heaps
