Glueing Carpet....

Hi all. Any suggestions on what glue to use on indoor/outdoor carpet.

I have carpet on the nose of our 3.8  Seajay and it's very sad from the salt/heat

Need to replace it, just asking.

This is what I used for my carpet mate.

Thanks demarc, I suppose Bunnings/hardware/paint shop.

You wouldn't know easy way to unstick old carpet I suppose.

Probably just tear it off and clean up with thinners.

I got the carpet and glue from bcf. I ripped my carpet up then cleaned lot with thinners.

However when I first got the boat I spilt 20ltrs of petrol in the back by mistake coming home from 1770. This dissolved a lot of the glue to start with, which is why I had to replace carpet.

Can you remember what the cost?

40 bucks for the tin. 150 or so for the carpet. However I was re carpeting a 5.5mtr half cab.
