Latest from SEQ water website. I was hopeing that they would have reopened a couple of the dams that had a minimal inflow.

I would like to see some photos of the Hinze ramps reckon the water would be half way up to the toilet blocks.

 

Seqwater sites closed for land-based recreation

Access to Seqwater’s land-based recreation areas is not permitted at the following sites:

• Baroon Pocket Dam - Northern Recreation Area and Martin Williams Trails
• Enoggera Reservoir    
• Gold Creek Day Use Area
• Hinze Dam's Western and Eastern boat ramps
• Lake Kurwongbah Ski Road
• Lake Manchester Day Use Area
• Lake Samsonvale’s Postmans Track
• Wappa Dam's Jack Harrison Park

We will continue to provide updates on access, and will re-open sites as soon as they are safe for recreation. 

Please play it safe and observe the directions of signage and staff on-site.

Recreation areas closed due to severe weather

Due to recent severe weather and in the interest of public safety, the following recreation closures are in place:

• All Scenic Rim recreation areas are closed for public access. This includes all land and water-based recreation.
• All other Seqwater sites are closed for all water-based recreation (including swimming, boating, fishing, paddling and skiing), and limited access for land based activities.

Please play it safe when visiting any of these sites. Conditions may not be the same as the last time you visited. 

We will re-open areas when it is safe to do so.

Hinze Dam - Eastern boat ramp closed

Seqwater advises that the Eastern boat ramp at Hinze Dam is now closed due to flooding of local roads.

We will re-open the boat ramp as soon as it is safe to do so.
