Lure Fishing At Deep Water Bend

Hi Guys,

Was thinking of trying some lures from the shore at Deep Water Bend. 

Any suggestions of lures to use and techniques too?

I'm a complete lure noob.

If you are new to it then 3 inch plastics and 1/8 to 1/6th jig jeads. Try a variety of retrieves focusing on structure, finding the bottom and then mix it up with some faster more erratic retrieves higher up the water column that may attract a trevally or tailor. All lures are fun but plastics are cheap and versitile which makes them great until the confidence is up.
