queensland Red Hot Session

Luke and I had a red hot session yesterday out at NPD. fish were on the game and the sun was too. We trolled up a few to start, then jigged a few, trolled some more and then decided to get Luke a yella. Greedy buggar got 3 while all I could do was keep landing bass after bass after bass.Oh first pic is the new beast.Rodeo 2006 up for sale shortly, passed roadworthy, been detailed, just need to get off ass and take a few pics.

Nice one mate. I know those floats  How bit did the Yellas go? I think I ate one of there sisters last night. Good but strong flavour. I will be steaming the next lot with soy and ginger nest time

I hope your car sells well. It looks like a good rig. 

Also do you mind me asking what size blades you are using?

I use 1/4 for 20ft, 3/8 for 30ft and 1/2 for over that.

Yeah I think looking at the blades in your pic, mine were far too small the other day. Nice session there Dino, that yella of Lukes is a solid one. Nice new wheels too

Blades are blades wherever you use them, most common way is jigging up and down, drop to bottom verticle wind up slow, cast out and hop hop hop,cast out let sink to where fish are and slow wind or cast out let sink to where fish are and sweep sweep sweep.If in an area with smaller fish bream or bass smaller blades are the best.

If there is a boat close by using live shrimp it is a waste of time using lures. Live shrimp will outfish lures 50 to 1.
