Dragged myself out to the PRFMA boat ramp area this morning for a working bee. Pain in the back, hipps, legs and other joints ( overall a big pain in the arse ) but still managed to turn up and do my bit. Quick flick on the way home for four bass and a yella, all from the grassy shallows. Changed lures a few times as they were hitting but not getting hooked up.

I found some bass a long way out, I could see the bottom of the spool, this happened when I used the halco twistie. Best part was I got a fish first cast with it, hop hop hop bang first cast.Might have to spool some more line.

Back again this morning before bacon and eggs, managed 3 yellas and not one bass, first yella had to be released quickly as hooks deep throated. Biggest went 52cm.
