Should be able to get one for around $100 from any boating dealer or boating accesory store eg bias boating, glascraft or whitworths.

Don't forget you will also need an aerial and mount.

i bought my 27mhz radio for 99bucks from north side marine its a gme and it came with an arial it seems to be clean to use vhf will give you much further comunication but is dearer and you need to do some boring course at vmr \"volunteer marine rescue\"to use it mind you if you had both fitted to your boat and got into difficulty they arent going to say we cant rescue you without a valid license :laugh:

That's good value faulked. Aerials start around $45 without a base at Bias:blink: They must have thrown the radio in for free:laugh: . The ebay one chubbstar posted doesn't come with an aerial.
