Has anyone fished Cooby creek?

Just saw one of the blokes on Fish n tales got a 1m murray Cod there recently. Its a dam I have not yet crossed off my list, just north of Toowoomba!

However looking at my Beacon to Beacon, it looks like only the main basin of the Reservoir is allowed to be fished.

As I loath trolling, I was wondering if anyone new if there was any structure in the main basin to cast at?
