Anyone been down to the riverside expressway?

Since the Riverside expressway is closed, has anyone been game enough to to go down and ask the traffic controllers if they can have a fish off it? I had a quick fish off it while we were doing the asphalt work (during a meal break) a couplew of weeks ago, but did not even get a bite.
