Excursion to Brunswick Heads - 25 June

Looking to run down there for about a half day. Leave home 6am at latest. Back home around 2-3pm. Lunch - a local burger joint beckons....

Want to see how much difference the Tugun Bypass brings to the time getting down there and also to see if I can get an entry in for FOTM.:cheer:

Know its a week day, but should be a little more quite....

There is space in car for 2 more, if any AFO member's would like to come....

Live at Bracken Ridge, so collection could be arranged on the way through...

Taking a 12 foot pull apart rod for a go off the walls and river etc.

Just did the drive this weekend and man the Tugun Bypass is a DREAM. No more battling trucks and slow drivers and red lights. Takes around 4 or 5 minutes to get from one end to the other.

Made it from Kingscliff to Brisbane in around 50minutes on yesterday. Was sitting around the 116 mark in the 110 zones.
