5.8 Formosa

Hi guys, I'm looking at buying a 5.8 Formosa centre cab, can anyone give me their thoughts on these boats with a 140 Suzuki 4 stroke.

My neighbour has the next size down, 5.2 (i think) its a centre console, with a 90hp. I have been out with him a couple of times in the bay and found it nice and stable, easy to fish from. As for running through the bay on choppy seas, it went quite well. Mind you, its one of 2 boats i've been out on, the other was a fibreglass half cab when i was in NZ. But yeah, the Formosa... not a bad boat in my mind. Test drive one if you can.

I'm sure Bush'n'Beach or Queensland Fishing Monthly have just done a review on that boat. This mnths or maybe last months, cant remember:blush:

Thanks, I have read that but it was about a 4.2, it was a glowing report though.
