looking at the 2008 model...how to they stack up to say the tierre or daiwa advantage>better or worse?

good low-mid range reel i have the old model ultegra very nice smooth reel. if your getting the newest model best to get the 1000s as the 2000s size is a tad bit heavy for a shallow spool reel (finesse) coming in at 260grm when you could get equivelent daiwa weighing around the 230grm mark

yeha i was eyeing off the 1000...good for my 1-3kg stick
